Fall at Manassas National Battlefield Park
Fall is a great time to visit Manassas National Battlefield Park! The park staff and volunteers give programs and tours every day. There are also special hikes and family-friendly events planned this season. We hope when you come out to the park, you stop by the Henry Hill Visitors Center, and pick up information about the Trust. There is a display at the end of the counter, in addition to our monthly book raffle!
Daily Park Tours
A variety of interpretive tours are offered daily throughout the park.
Henry Hill Walking Tour: A 45 minute tour with a park historian to the key sites on Henry Hill during the the First Battle of Manassas. Tours start at the Visitors Center daily at 11am and 2pm
Brawner Farm Walking Tour: This 45 minute walking tour covers the first day’s action at Second Manassas. Tours begin at the Brawner Farm Interpretive Center (Tour stop # 1) daily at 11am, 1pm and 3pm.

Hike the Battlefield
Come out to Manassas National Battlefield Park and join us for our annual Autumn hikes on the battlefield!
Saturday, October 3: First Manassas Battlefield Hike
Join a park historian on an extended hike discussing the First Battle of Manassas. This program will last approximately 4 hours and hike 5.5 miles. We will visit several of the key landscapes of the July 1861 engagement – including the Stone Bridge, Farm Ford, Matthews Hill, the Stone House and Henry Hill. Program begins at 1 p.m. at the Henry Hill Visitor Center. Rain or shine.
Saturday, October 17: Second Manassas Battlefield Hike
Join a park historian on an extended hike discussing the Second Battle of Manassas. This program will last approximately 4.5 hours and hike 6.2 miles. We will visit several of the key landscapes of the August 1862 engagement – including Buck Hill, the Unfinished Railroad, the Dump, the Deep Cut, New York Avenue, Chinn Ridge, and Henry Hill. Program begins at 1 p.m. at the Henry Hill Visitor Center. Rain or shine.

**Family Event** Saturday At The Park October 10 from 11am to 3pm
Come on out to the battlefield for our Saturday at the Park and discover the many fascinating natural resources, many of which you could find in your own backyard. Activities begin at 10 am and run through 3 pm. While you hike along a short loop trail, you will encounter 13 different activity stations, including Bird Watching, Furry Encounters, a Migration Obstacle Course, Dip-netting, and a Ranger Uniform Try-on Station!
